336 Productions to Celebrate 5 Years in Business in April with a Video Contest

Summary: An industry leader in corporate video production, who has reached a new milestone in the number of years in business, plans to reward one lucky business with a top-of-the-line video production that would normally cost thousands of dollars to produce.

Costa Mesa, California, April 8, 2013 – According to a recent study done by Inc. Magazine and the National Business Incubator Association, 80 percent of new businesses fail within the first five years, but the 336 Productions team is high-fiving the achievement of being in the 20% of businesses who succeed. To celebrate this milestone, one lucky business in Orange County will be rewarded with a concept to completion corporate video this fall. “We realize that many businesses don’t make it to five years, so we’re excited to be able to celebrate five years in business this April,” said Marlowe Stone, co-owner and co-founder of 336 Productions, a full service video production company specializing in corporate video. “To commemorate the event, this fall, we’ll be holding our first ever Video for a Video Contest. Basically, we’ll be asking Orange County businesses for a 30 second video, shot with their smartphones or video cameras telling us why they want a video, and we’ll pick one of those companies to make a video that’s valued at $10,000.” Stone explained that one of 336 Productions missions is to help other businesses reach their business goals through video, especially video for their websites and/or web use. She added that the Video for a Video contest is the company’s way of sponsoring a fun event while blessing one Orange County business with a full scale professional video production at no cost to the contest winner. “Videos are an essential part of business marketing strategies now, and we know how important our services are to our clients” Stone pointed out. “With five years in business, we now have a track record of success and five years worth of award winning videos, and happy clients. This contest is our way of celebrating that, and hopefully getting the attention of businesses who haven’t heard of us.”According to a recent study conducted by NDP Group, an industry leader in consumer research, statistics, and trends, 85 percent of consumers who visit a business’ website are more likely to buy after watching a video. In addition, videos are shared 12 times more often than text via social media outlets, such as Facebook. The study went on to note that the average time spent on a website that does not have a video is 53 seconds. However, the average time spent on a website that does have a video is six minutes. “The types of corporate videos we produce are B2B videos, brand videos, case studies, commercials, internal videos, marketing videos, training videos, educational videos, legal videos, product demos, promos, trade show videos, and viral videos,” Stone said about her company’s services that’s geared toward medium and large size businesses in Orange County, Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Stone emphasized that the videos 336 Productions produces can be live-action, motion-graphics, or a combination. “Our video services include concept development, script writing, location scouting, product management, production document creation and management, budgeting, storyboarding, directing, producing, filming, editing, color grading, visual effects, audio mixing, sound design, motion graphics, 2D and 3D animation, keying and compositing, and DVD authoring,” said Stone. Tony Fassette, Global Vice President of SAP Business Communications Management, described working with 336 Productions as smooth from the beginning to the end. “I came to 336 Productions with a desire to produce web promos for one of our products. It was critical that they understood our message and successfully translated it into a branded, effective video. Not only did they do that, but they brought their creativity to the scripting process, taking our ideas to the next level. The videos have made a major impact both internally and outside the company. I would recommend 336 Productions to anyone looking for professional, high quality video services.”For more information, please visit: www.336productions.com
